iMyth app for iPhone and iPad

iMyth is a convenient helper app for accessing the MythTV Mythweb interface on your iPhone. Once setup you can quickly get to your program guide, recordings and other features of Mythweb whether you’re at home or on the go. No more fumbling with URLs and shortcuts on the browser to get to your MythTV.

iMyth can be used both on your local LAN or over the Internet. A feature has been provided to make this work even if your router does not support loopback. You can configure external (over the Internet) and internal (local LAN) connection parameters and iMyth will decide which one to use.

Naturally before enabling Mythweb to be accessed from the Internet please ensure that you secure it appropriately (mythtv.org has directions to guides). iMyth supports password protection, custom ports and SSL.

IOS 5.0 or grater is required.
